smartTrade Technologies is a leading global provider of multi-asset electronic trading platforms with 8 offices in London, New York, Paris, Tokyo, Toronto, Geneva, and Istanbul. smartTrade's headquarters and the core of its research and development center are located in Aix-en-Provence.
We contribute to the growth of our clients' electronic trading business through our cost-efficient, technologically advanced, secure, private end-to-end SaaS solutions.
Our clients are banks, brokers, buy-side institutions and corporates. smartTrade's technology enables real-time electronic management of financial exchanges between these different players.

Our story
At smartTrade Technologies, our journey is not just a story, it’s a testament to innovation, resilience, and a relentless commitment to pushing the boundaries of financial technology. As you embark on your journey with us, let’s take a captivating trip through our history.
smartTrade was founded in 1999 by David Vincent – our current CEO – and Harry Gozlan. The company initially provided software bricks to the financial services and trading industry. Our engineers developed software components that could interface with the different IT systems of our clients.
The first decade was a period of innovation and growth with one clear goal: to revolutionize electronic trading. We introduced cutting-edge trading solutions and quickly gained recognition for our expertise in Foreign Exchange trading. From 2011, our adaptive technology solutions evolved to cater to a broader range of asset classes such as Fixed Income, Crypto and Derivatives to reinforce our leadership in the financial industry.
The world took notice of smartTrade’s innovative solutions and this recognition led to rapid expansion. We established a global presence with offices in major financial hubs, including London, New York and Tokyo. More recently in 2021, smartTrade and TickTrade (based in Toronto and Istanbul) joined forces to become a global leader in SaaS FX trading platforms.
Today smartTrade stands tall as a driving force in the Fintech landscape. Our cutting-edge solutions continue to empower clients with the tools they need to thrive in an ever-evolving market. We’ve seamlessly integrated AI and machine learning into our offerings, notably with the launch of smart Copilot integrating OpenAI Chat GPT, ensuring that our clients are always one step ahead.
