The Role
We are looking for a motivated Legal Intern to join our team in Aix-en-Provence for a 6-month period. You will work closely with and assist our Group Legal Officer in managing the day-to-day legal operations of a fast-growing Fintech business. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in international contract negotiation, SaaS technology law, and corporate compliance.
Your Missions
You will support the Group Legal Officer in the following areas:
Contractual Support: Assist in reviewing, drafting, and managing commercial agreements, including SaaS agreements and procurement contracts.
Negotiation Assistance: Help prepare documentation and legal playbooks for negotiations with international clients and partners.
Compliance & Regulatory: Research and monitor legal regulations and industry standards applicable to our global Fintech operations.
Corporate Secretarial: Participate in the management of corporate documentation and legal archives for the group’s various entities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams such as Finance, Sales, R&D and all other departments, to gather information for legal reviews.
Developing the Legal Department: creation of processes to facilitate the interactions between departments, creation of databases to facilitate the access to key information.
Profile Required
Education: Currently in your last year of a Master’s degree (M2) in Law, preferably in Intellectual Property/IT/Digital Law, or in International Business Law,
Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strict attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Capacity to synthesize key information of various topics and provide executive summaries
Capacity to adapt to a large panel of stakeholders (technical, business, financial, client)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment.
Fluency in English is essential, as you will be dealing with global contracts.
Mindset: You are a proactive self-starter with a "can-do" attitude and a strong desire to learn about the Fintech industry. You aim to become an in-house lawyer.
