We are currently looking for a Junior Business Analyst to join our team in Aix-en-Provence.
Position Overview
The Junior Business Analyst will be a key contributor within the Business Analysis team, supporting client project delivery, product enhancement, and cross-functional collaboration between Support, QA, and Engineering. You will serve as a local point of contact for EMEA-based clients, while collaborating daily with the core project team based in Toronto.
This role requires strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to take initiative and work autonomously. We are looking for someone dynamic, fast-learning, and responsible, ready to engage in a cycle of continuous improvement and ownership.
Occasional assistance with customer support, including weekend rotations, may be required to ensure smooth platform operation.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements for trading-related applications.
Translate business needs into detailed user stories or functional specifications for development and QA teams.
Act as a key liaison for EMEA-based clients, helping clarify needs and ensuring follow-through with the Toronto-based project team.
Participate in functional testing and validation of new features or bug fixes.
Support investigation of production issues and help with incident summaries and client communication.
Prepare clear documentation, including workflows, release notes, and internal reporting.
Collaborate with the Support team occasionally on weekend shifts when additional coverage is required.
Take full ownership of assigned workstreams, drive tasks autonomously, and apply feedback iteratively.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
2 or more years of experience in a Business Analyst, Support Analyst, or related role (internships included).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, and follow through on responsibilities.
Comfortable working with cross-functional, international teams in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and basic SQL.
Working knowledge of the FIX protocol and data formats such as JSON or XML.
Nice to Have
Fluency in Turkish or Arabic.
Experience or knowledge in FX, cryptocurrency, or stock trading.
Previous experience in client-facing or support roles.
Ability to handle shifting priorities and remain adaptable under pressure.
