About the position
As a Sales Enablement Specialist, you will report to the Head of Sales Enablement and Marketing and play a critical role in accelerating the sales cycle through expert engagement with prospects, effective enablement of sales teams, and a strong technical understanding of our FX trading solutions.
You will act as the bridge between commercial and technical teams, directly contributing to revenue generation, enhancing client engagement, and driving our market leadership. Responsabilities
- Partner closely with sales directors to uncover and deeply qualify customer requirements, adeptly aligning our proposed solutions with tangible business value and strategic client objectives.
- Deliver persuasive product demos, technical deep-dives, and tailored presentations that captivate and inform C-level executives, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Drive the creation and continuous improvement of high-impact sales enablement assets, including compelling pitch decks, insightful battlecards, and precise competitive positioning materials, ensuring our sales team is always equipped with the best tools.
- Translate complex technical concepts into compelling client narratives that resonate effectively with both business and IT audiences, simplifying complexity into clear, actionable insights.
- Provide strategic input on deal shaping and solution design, collaborating closely with product management, engineering, and solution delivery teams to ensure optimal, client-centric solutions.
- Own and manage all technical responses to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and high quality that positions smartTrade as the preferred solution.
- Maintain deep expertise in our comprehensive product suite, staying abreast of evolving FX market trends, and thoroughly understanding competitor offerings to enhance our strategic positioning and effective objection handling.
- Mentor sales colleagues on advanced product capabilities and real-world market use cases, fostering internal expertise and building confidence across the sales organization.
- Contribute to industry thought leadership and represent smartTrade with distinction at conferences, industry panels, and client workshops, elevating our brand and expertise.
- International travel is required to support regional sales efforts and deep client engagement, strengthening relationships globally.
Position requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, or sales enablement, ideally within front-office capital markets or trading technology environments.
- Solid understanding of FX markets and electronic trading or payments infrastructure is essential.
- Exposure to technical standards such as FIX, and familiarity with technologies like HTML or Java is advantageous.
- Interest in emerging technologies such as machine learning, generative AI, and advanced analytics is a strong plus.
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into elegant technical solutions and articulate their associated value proposition clearly and concisely.
- Confident in creating and delivering impactful product demos and executive-level presentations that drive engagement and decision-making.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of successful cross-functional collaboration and exceptional client engagement.
- Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce, collaboration platforms like Confluence and JIRA, and dedicated RFP response platforms is beneficial.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a significant advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to expertly manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Frequent travel required: 30% of the time
