Position Summary
Reporting to the Customer Solutions department, the role consists in managing and developing the portfolio of key existing clients of the company on a dedicated territory. The Key Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining a long-term relationship with accounts and maximising sales opportunities within them. He/She defines and implements the sales and retention strategy by customer in order to develop the business and increase their satisfaction and loyalty.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop a portfolio of major clients: Expand the revenue with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives;
- Increase upsell and cross sell
- Understand the organization of each of our clients, establish a map of responsibilities. Develop strong relationships at each level of customer’s organization.
- Collect information for each customer: needs, constraints, dysfunctions ... Identify and understand key objectives and initiatives which drive their business to define and implement a customer retention strategy
- When there is an opportunity:
- Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements;
- Define specific sales strategy plan for each account;
- Make sure all internal stakeholders have a clear view of your opportunity by coordinating deal review meetings.
- Drive the entire Sales process including contract negotiation (add ons, services, and renewal)
- Prepare and present follow-up reports and forecasts using key account metrics.
- Support prospect pitches, RFPs and pricing proposals where required.
Qualifications and skills
- 5 years of experience as a Key Account Manager or Sales Account representative for a software company
- Strong understanding of FX trading concepts, products, and market dynamics.
- Sales driven mindset
- Good understanding of Sales cycles and capacity to manage complex offers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals at all organizational levels
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Highly self-motivated
- English fluent and Spanish a plus
