Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and independent Software Developer, possessing expertise in PHP, Symfony, and Infrastructure Automation. This individual will assume a crucial responsibility in contributing to automation projects that are essential for the success of our infrastructure team’s operations. The role involves actively contributing to the creation of automation solutions within our mission-critical hosting environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Software Development
   1. Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications using PHP and the Symfony framework
   2. Troubleshoot, optimize, and refactor code to ensure high performance and security of applications
   3. Write clean, well-structured, and documented code that aligns with industry best practices
   4. Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure seamless deployment and smooth infrastructure management
   5. Integrate third-party services and APIs to expand the platform’s capabilities
2. Collaboration and Communication
   1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features that enhance the functionality of our infrastructure management platform
   2. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 3-5 years of professional experience in PHP development with a strong focus on the Symfony framework
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and best coding practices
• Familiarity with infrastructure management concepts, automation tools, and cloud platforms
• Proficient in MySQL or other relational databases and database schema design
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex systems
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the hosting or IT services industry
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
• A keen eye for UX/UI design
• Experience working with global teams
• French language proficiency is a nice-to-have
